Innovation and precision in mechanical sheet processing.

We constantly invest in the customization of solutions for electronics, a fact well-recognized by our customers. One of our core strengths lies in mechanical sheet processing, which we consider a pivotal milestone in our production process. Since our initial acquisition in 2005, this aspect has undergone remarkable advancements, reflecting our ongoing commitment to innovation and improvement.

Advanced use of materials and technologies

Our processing technologies are used in a wide range of products, including:

  • plastic or aluminium holders for membrane switches;
  • PMMA or polycarbonate slides;
  • plastic or aluminium display frames.

We also manufacture general mechanical parts, such as support elements or protection for components and electronic boards.

Cutting-Edge production capacity

The department is equipped with a total of 4 machines, all of which are similar but have different characteristics, ensuring precision and flexibility.

The slab processing allows to work on a certain number of pieces in a single cycle, with complex layouts in which various other processes are then carried out in sequence.

The layout and arrangement of various pieces on the sheet is called “nesting.” This process is typically executed using CAD software and allows you to:

  • Place the pieces in a manner that occupies as little space as possible on the sheet.
  • Minimize material waste during the cutting process.
  • Organize the sequence of operations to be performed on the entire sheet to optimize efficiency, making the work cycle as autonomous as possible and reducing the need for manual intervention by the operator.

In some cases, the work is carried out on a single face of the sheet, so after the processing cycle the product will be ready for subsequent processing in other departments or for packaging.

Or in other cases, you need a shot from the other side, then flip the sheet for a second round of processing on the opposite side.

All machines are equipped with a tool change system: for each machine, in fact, you have different types of cutter/ tools (up to 16) for sequential machining with different diameters and types (for example, for removing different sizes, bevelling, countersinking, threading, etc.).

We do not process steel or iron materials. These machines are in fact suitable for the processing of plastics and aluminium with high-speed spindles.

They are also ideal for making pieces of various sizes, from large panels to small objects retained on the machine thanks to powerful vacuum systems.

Innovation and Constant Upgrading

The most recent addition to our fleet, installed in July 2023, exemplifies our commitment to continuous innovation.

This machine, although conceptually very similar to those already present, introduces structural and technological improvements that further enhance the quality and speed of processing, especially in the realization of small parts.

A skilled and coordinated team

Our strength lies also in our team of one operator and two highly qualified operators who efficiently manage the four machines in a coordinated way.

Our operators are trained to operate the various machine programs independently in the department, unlike other companies where there are executors and a technical office that processes the files in their place.

This operational autonomy therefore becomes an element of distinction and allows us to be faster and more efficient in responding to customer requests.
