For LCD displays or videos of your products, the design of a frame can be a differentiating element. For a company specialized in analytical instrumentation, the frames we made were appreciated by many of their distributors.
“Details are not details. They create design” said Charles Eames, famous American industrial designer. And according to our experience, we can say that it’s really true: the frame of a display is just a detail of a more articulated instrumentation, but it can differentiate the entire product.
Attending to the details of a web page, may not seem that important, but it can favorably attract the attention of a potential customer. We can say that attention to detail is the fundamental theme of this case history.
Getting found on the Web. Getting preferred for a well-maintained site
One of our customers from Piemonte that designs and manufactures instruments for the analysis of any type of gas.
It specializes in the customization of each solution, which is designed by selecting the most suitable technology for the type of application.
It is therefore a well-aware reality of what it means to develop customized projects.
They find us through an internet search. MCS appears among the top results on Google, but what strikes our customer is the website and in particular the accuracy of the product page.
Customized LCD display frames
Since then, we have made several products for our client, typically silkscreen printed panels and aluminium display frames. Among the first orders were precisely 5″ frames.
Or rather, our client had a system in which there was a display inserted on a panel and asked us to improve it aesthetically.
Our proposal was a customized aluminium frame
with a shot peening finish, silkscreen printed and with a transparent protective coating. Inside, the frame is equipped with plastic brackets to support the display and electronic board. A proposal immediately well received.
It is very difficult for there to be feedback from the end users of these instruments. However, our client informed us that several of their distributors, some of whom previously distributed other brands, liked the design of this solution.
At the end of 2020, we were asked to make similar LCD display frames, but in the size of 10″.
Taking care of the details of every aspect
Meeting product requirements is obviously critical to the durability of a business relationship. But it is not enough. When we interview one of our customers, we often ask them to tell us what they value most about MCS, besides the products. In this case, the answer was rapidity, professionalism and accuracy in every aspect.
Thanks to this consideration even geographical distance is not a problem. Medium-sized companies often prefer to have suppliers who are territorially close, because for any kind of feedback they can meet.
Therefore, we are pleased to know that for our customer, MCS is the exception that proves the rule: the rapidness of response and quality of service overcame this hurdle as well.
